Guys.
Lestrade is easily one of my favorite characters. Because before John ever came along, he was the only one that really, truly believed in Sherlock. He trusts Sherlock, depends on him, even. He gives Sherlock a chance and respects him. Lestrade of Scotland Yard. I think it’s inaccurate to say that Sherlock has only one friend, because what else is Lestrade? Someone who can count on Sherlock and someone that Sherlock really doesn’t mind having around.
And to think, he didn’t even know Lestrade’s first name.
